We went to Butuan to attend a birthday celebration. The trip there took three hours and we traveled by car. We only stayed there for one night though. Butuan is my dad’s birthplace that’s why he’s still very familiar with everything that’s in there until now. Actually, he moved to CDO city when he was grade 5.</span></div></div><div class="MsoNormal"><div style="text-align: justify;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> After the birthday celebration, my dad toured us around Butuan. He showed us where he lived when he was a child and where he went to school when he was in kinder and grade school. Childhood memories. </span><br /> <span style="font-family: Arial;"> Butuan is so full of Christmas decorations! Bright lights and festive colors everywhere! CDO used to be like that before but it isn't anymore. Did the people lose their Christmas spirit? :(</span><br /> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"> Back then, everything was so simple that’s why I really liked it. The children had no electronics and so their source of entertainment was outdoor games.
